HF​​

​These are a regular and popular feature of our programme and are now fully restored after having been curtailed by the Covid Pandemic.

Where possible Hostels, Self Catering and Bed & Breakfasts are used.

In 2023/24 there was a New Year stay in Pitlochry. In May the A walkers stayed at the Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge and climbed Ben More Assynt/ Conival, Quinag, Suilven, Breabag and Canisp. Also in May another group went to Barra. The September weekend was at Braemar with a variety of walks including Lochnagar.

The New Year stay 2024/25 was again in Pitlochry.

In May 2025 there was a weekend in Portsoy for primarily B and C walkers with some A walkers going to Shieldaig/Torridon. The September holiday was in Keswick and in some lovely sunny weather, Scafell Pike, Skidaw and Striding Edge were enjoyed as well as a number of low level walks. New Year was celebrated at Amble with some lovely coastal walks.

This years Spring weekend for primarily B and C walkers will be in Bute with A walkers going to Knoydart in May.

Trips abroad for walking are also occasionally organised by the club for those who wish to spend a week away.
